About the residencyVårø Contemporary is an exhibition space, project room, and artist residency dedicated to sound and moving images.

Time, space, and stillness
A stay at Vårø Contemporary offers artists time, space, and stillness. We are artist-run, and our residency reflects that — hands-on, personal, and built around what artists actually need.
